Visa and MasterCard International Interchange Rates
International card transactions are subject to Visa and MasterCard International Interchange Rates. These rates are often lower than domestic Interchange Rates for similar cards, but “cross-border” fees will be applied.
Visa and MasterCard fees are called “International Cross-Border Fees” and are range from 0.45% to 1% on top of the standard interchange rates.
With First Data’s Dynamic Currency Conversion Solution, you can offset some or all of these fees.
