How To Set Up An Amex Account

If you want to add Amex to the credit cards you accept you must first register with American Express as a merchant. We handle the registration process for you – so all you need to do is let your account rep know that you want to accept Amex credit cards – and we’ll take care of the rest.

If you already accept American Express cards, we can arrange for First Data to take over the role of authorizing your Amex payments. All you have to do is provide your Amex Merchant ID upon signup.
